Please join us on Sunday, April 29, 2012, at 2:00pm for the Goodhue County Historical Organizations Annual Meeting.

Doug Ohman will be the guest speaker that afternoon and will give a Powerpoint presentation entitled 'Minnesota's Vanishing Landmarks'. Doug is an accomplished photographer/author and has many books published through Minnesota Historical Society Press including Churches of Minnesota, Schoolhouses of Minnesota,Courthouses of Minnesota, just to name a few.  We welcome Doug and all the other Goodhue County historic preservation organizations who will present their annual reports. Come join us to learn more about the historic organizations within Goodhue County as well as historic landmarks throughout greater Minnesota.

Our longest standing event held at St. Rose is our annual Candle Lighting Ceremony.  This tradition began as a celebration of the anniversary of St. Rose which held its first Mass in December of 1878. 

Come see the new progress made and participate in the intimate Candlelighting Ceremony.  Brass Etc will provide music for the ceremony.

Our 9th Annual Candle Lighting Ceremony will be held on Sunday, December 18, 2011, at 2:00pm, with a reception to follow at the Palof residence.
